Project Coordinator

Noventa is seeking a self-starter with the ability to problem-solve and multitask to fill the position of Project Coordinator. In this role, you will be an integral part of Noventa’s project development team coordinating multiple aspects of all projects in a fast-paced and challenging work environment Reporting to the Project Manager, you will work with other team members, service providers and construction partners to ensure that projects are completed on time and on budget.

As a Project Coordinator, your job will be to make sure that everyone is on the same page and speaking the same language. Therefore, it is essential that you have excellent organizational and communication skills to communicate all issues and risks on a timely basis.

Your duties will include coordinating and attending meetings, preparing weekly reports, developing project schedules and timelines and always following-up on deliverables. You will track permits, budgets and other relevant information; organize contracts and financial files; keep accurate and current records; issue purchase orders and assist with bookkeeping and invoicing as needed.

As the ideal candidate, you will have at least 3 -5 years of experience in a similar or related field coordinating complex projects and dealing with multiple tasks.

A bachelor’s degree in engineering or certification is preferred but not required if you have strong work experience.

Jr. Accountant


Noventa is looking for a Jr. Accountant to assist the CFO with various accounting and finance duties related to certain projects under development. The succesful candidate is highly organized and detail oriented with an ability to communicate effectivey and prepare timely and accurate reports. The role includes monthly accounting, financial budgeting and assisting with accounting and finance related activities as required.


  • Update, maintain and report on project budgets and forecasts on a regular basis;
  • Analyze project budget variances and performance indexing (revenue, cost & profit margins);
  • Develop, update, maintain and report on project cash flows;
  • Complete project budget financial reconciliation;
  • Review monthly invoices and change orders and reconcile against project budget;
  • Perform full cycle accounting including journal entries, bank reconciliation, month and year-end closings;
  • Work with an independent audit firm for financial system and budget audits;
  • Produce monthly project financial reports;
  • Prepare and file GST/HST return/rebate and annual tax returns;
  • Maintain accurate revenue recognition that meets ASPE standards;
  • Assist with other finance activities as needed.


  • Post-secondary education in accounting, business administration, or finance;
  • Accounting designation or in pursuit of designation is preferred;
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting and/or finance;
  • Previous experience in project accounting and financial analysis is preferred;
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel including some exposure to financial models;
  • Experience with Quickbooks an asset;
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills;
  • Must be able to prioritize workload and work with deadlines.
