The Thermenex System is the only HVAC product holistically conceived based on exergy preservation to reduce your energy costs and greenhouse gas emissions by addressing all of your thermal energy needs. It eliminates redundant and counteracting thermal systems. Think of it as ‘VRF’ with water, except it is safer, scalable and more economical. Nothing gets your large building closer to net-zero operation and Resource sustainability.
A Thermenex System is suitable for large dynamic buildings in cooler climates. Hospitals, data centres, recreation centres, institutional buildings, laboratory buildings, office buildings and diverse multipurpose buildings are all good candidates.
There are currently over 30 buildings with Thermenex System technology.
• First Thermenex system installation
• Zero on-site greenhouse gas emissions
• Geo-exchange field size reduction by 45%
• LEED Gold – all 10 energy points (max at the time)
• Uses approx. 1/3 the electrical energy per area of older campus buildings – and that INCLUDES the building heat
• Reclaims heat from adjacent buildings
• Provides heat to adjacent buildings
• Energy cost reduction: 55%
• Greenhouse gas reduction: 93%
• Capital cost reduction: $1.2M
• First Thermenex logic control system
• Designed to LEED Gold
• Energy cost reduction: 30%
• 70-85% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions
• Direct reuse of waste thermal energy from the ice plant
• Heat recovery chiller reuses low grade heat from all sources and provides 100% of pool heat demand
• A library, 200 meters away, completely heated with reclaimed energy
• District Energy system for four existing City-owned buildings
• Maximizing greenhouse gas reduction by sharing waste thermal energy
• Partially centralized thermal energy plant
• Integration of holistic heat reclaim into existing buildings
• Switchover from air-cooled systems to water-based Thermenex system in occupied buildings
